Susanna Elias
Senior Sport Rehabilitator

Trained in both Matwork and Reformer Pilates through POWMAK Pilates, Susanna also graduated from the University of Salford with a 1st Class BSc in Sports Rehabilitation. Specialising in musculoskeletal injury, Susanna is passionate about getting her clients back to a stronger and fitter place than they were before injury and discovering the root cause of an injury, not just treating the symptoms. She suffered a herniated disc at 18, which was her incentive to become qualified in injury rehabilitation and Pilates.

Susanna’s previous experience was working in a busy GP practice in Hindley, The Royal Liverpool Hospital and Salford University Sports Injury Clinic.

As well as being a busy mum, physical activity together with a healthy diet are very important to Susanna. She enjoys cooking, running and gym work, together with weekly netball with her daughter and Pilates.

Susanna’s specialist areas are injury rehabilitation (in particular neck and shoulder injuries) and improving sporting performance through strength and conditioning. Through her work at Elite and Equilibrium she has had experience working with clients with long term conditions, such as Parkinsons, Stroke,MS and long standing pain conditions as well as clients recovering from major operations such as hip and knee replacements.
